Glutton for Punishment

So over the last few days I’ve been getting some good natured grief about my Ohio State coat, at the old new job.  Now Tuesday is a Colts’ Blue Tuesday where fans here in Indy wear blue to rally behind their Colts.

This Tuesday, is a special Blue Tuesday since the big showdown with New England is this weekend there’s a big rally down at Monument Circle during the lunch hour. The Colts owner is going to make a big announcement right at the noon hour.

We’re going to put the whole event up on WISHTV.com.  It should be a big traffic draw to the web site.  So with all this Colts craziness on Tuesday, would it be a little over the top to wear my orange shirt and Cleveland Browns tie to work?

I think I’m going to do it, probably get me a lot of flack from the Indy staff, but I’m a proud Cleveland Browns fan and don’t plan on converting any time soon.

Welcome to Indy…

Well on to newer and better things … Sandy and I have completed our move to Indianapolis, and on our second weekend the temperature is heading down to freezing.  Oh well …I still don’t miss the beach yet.

Right now our biggest issue is learning to deal with all the Colts craziness. It’s everywhere, but then again what did I expect.  I wore an Ohio State shirt to work on Friday, and got a lot of flack for it.  Mostly by IU fans .. I had to remind them who was #1 in the polls.

After one week of work, the biggest change is the number of people … The staff at WISH is around 250 people … KRIS was about 80 at the most.   Trying to figure out everyone’s name and job is the biggest challenge.

What’s cool is that things I had to do myself at KRIS, there are people to do that at WISH … Art Design, news writers etc…  It is going to take some time to get used to.

What’s been really great is all the folks in Corpus Christi who’ve sent me the nice notes wishing me luck here in the Circle City, and for the work I did at KRISTV.COM.  I hope users at WISHTV.com will soon notice the same difference.
