Buckeyes Headed to Glendale, AZ

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

What a game!!! Troy Smith is 3-0 against Michigan and better yet Tressel is 5-1.  Something John Cooper could not do.

I think this was one of the best rivalry games ever.  The Buckeyes made a few mistakes like an interception and two fumbles but Michigan was unable to capitalize and in the end the Buckeyes were victorious.

GLENDALE HERE WE COME!!!!! Going to the National Championship for the 2nd time in 4 years…WAY TO GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited!!!!!!

I just wish I was able to afford tickets to go to the National Championship Game.  We’ll just have to watch it from Texas….One more win and we’ll win it all!!!

Thoughts on the Ohio State vs Michigan Game

Monday, November 13th, 2006

The game they have been talking about for the past month is finally less than a week away.

The Ohio State vs Michigan game is the biggest rivalry in all of college football.  Maybe of all time.  But, this year the game has extra meaning because of the No. 1 Buckeyes against the No. 2 Wolverines.   It will be the first time that a No 1. team will have played a No. 2 team 2 times in a season.  Earlier in the season, the No. 1 Buckeyes played the No. 2 Texas Longhorns and beat them in Texas.  If Ohio State beats Michigan, then it will be 3 times.

Being an Ohio State fan, yes I love to bash that team from up north.  But, I know they are just as capable of beating Ohio State as Ohio State is of beating them.  Anyone can win this game.  It just depends who plays the better game.  I know Michigan has been known to ruin quite a few Ohio State perfect seasons. The part that makes me feel good though is Jim Tressel. He is 4-1 against Michigan since taking over as Ohio State head coach.

So, I guess we’ll have to see on Saturday who wins what they’re calling “the game of the century”.  But for Ohio State and Michigan fans, it’s just another Ohio State and Michigan game and bragging rights for another year.
